Doug and Kate Runge are the proud owners of Martin's Automotive. Doug grew up working alongside his dad Mark, who owned the business up until 2005 when Doug took over.
Doug is a UW-Madison Mechanical Engineering graduate. He was given the opportunity to take over the family business from his father in 2005 and he jumped on the opportunity. Since then he made it his mission to be the best in the industry while sustaining his original goal which is to keep the same values of his family owned business. Doug is ASE Certified and has a certificate in L1- Advanced Engine Diagnostics.
Kate has been working at Martin's since they got married in 2007. She works in the office making sure everything runs smoothly and continually makes it her duty to keep customers and employees happy. Previous to working at Martin's, Kate spent 3 years working in Office Management and HR Operations and graduated with a degree in Social Work from UW- Milwaukee. Doug and Kate also have three kids, Henry ('13) ,Charles ('15), John ('19) and their dogs Lola and Maggie, who occasionally visit the shop.
Tim started with us in 2013 as a Co-op from Muskego High School. He has been with us ever since and has grown to be a great mechanic, diagnosing and repairing cars. He's a hard worker and he is a dedicated employee and he helps run the shop when we aren't here. He is working on his ASE Certifications. Outside of work, he loves to spend time with his wife and his dog Duke that comes to work too! He likes traveling to visit his family in Florida and Texas and then friends in Las Vegas (he moved to WI in 2013). He's also a history buff!
Brandon has been with us since May of 2017. He has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. He's committed and driven and is great at repairing vehicles. Brandon is working towards completing his ASE Certification. When he's not at work he loves spending time with his wife, 3 kids, 3 dogs and 2 cats! They love vacationing to Disney Parks together.
Matt has been with Martin's Automotive since 2020 and has over 20 years of experience working on cars. He is a great problem solver and can handle almost any situation. Matt loves spending time with his wife and 2 sons and 2 dogs. He enjoys mountain biking, racing RC cars with his sons and colleagues at work.
Shane came to work at Martin's in 2021 and has been a great addition helping out originally with emission tests and oil changes and now has grown to handle much harder repairs like brake jobs etc. When not at work Shane enjoys spending time in his garden and taking care of his 3 dogs, 1 cat and 6 chickens!
